More Free Time To Create In Clay

Finally a moment to breathe !! As school is coming up faster then I would like... and all the shopping for 4 kids ! Not to mention each child with their own style and opinion of what they want to wear to school this year. I have been running around like a chicken with it's head cut off ! Finally a moment to unwind and de-compress after a long day... what better way to do this then with clay !!

Bracelets In Black & White

I created these bracelets in black and white, which happen to be my favorite colors... well not the white so much as black ! Everyone always gives me a hard time about my closet... When you open it all you see is dark ! Since all my clothes are black !! Sometimes I wonder how I can tell one piece of clothing from another... But here are the things created in black and white...

Oh No !!!

I have had animals all my life and became a Vet Tech when I was younger... I never, never had any female dogs... always males. Now I remember the reason why !! Our little " baby" is in her first heat... YUCK ! and out other dog is going nuts ! He is driving me nuts too ! Our little Chihuahua seems so young to be going through this already... I know it's just because she is so small that we all consider her still a baby. So to ease my stress level, I decided to create something in clay to pass all the drama that is unfolding in the next room... And here are my first attempts at making a bracelet out of polymer clay... Now as I look at these images I see I have a long way to go...

I saw a vase on a image search I did yesterday, and I found a beautiful vase with what appears to be torn polymer clay stripes wrapped around the vase to give it an awesome style and overall appearance. So I decided to try my hand using the same design only on a bracelet and a keychain ( especially since I nneded a new one) They turned out okay, but as I said before... practice, practice practice...
